Consultant Meteorology & Climate change
Who are we looking for?
Do you want to contribute to sustainable solutions in the field of weather and climate, and work on impactful projects? We are looking for an enthusiastic consultant with the following qualifications:
- An MSc degree in meteorology, climate science, physics or related science
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Living in the Netherlands and eligible to work here
- Structured approach to problem solving
- Work experience within above mentioned fields is a plus
- Communication skills in Spanish, French, Portuguese or Swahilli is a plus
- Programming skills (Python) is a plus
Your activities
You will be working on national and international projects, where traveling abroad may be part of the role. We provide accurate localized weather information and agricultural advice, and it is your responsibility to ensure that the high quality of our operational services is maintained. Additionally, you are proactive in the further development of our weather services with smart ICT solutions. Together with partners, clients, and colleagues, you enjoy to brainstorm, advise, and discuss climate challenges. You know how to apply your expertise in such a way that we can deliver customized products tailored to the users needs.

Weather Impact is a Dutch company specialized in weather and climate services. We operate worldwide and provide advice and operational services to the agricultural and business sectors. Our innovative tools allow users to assess weather and climate impacts and make effective decisions to reduce risks. We are experts in data management, analytics and algorithms. We also provide training to support local partners in the sustainable continuation of the service. We actively work with NGOs, government organizations and research institutes to support climate adaptation.
